If treatments are administered at the appropriate time, you can achieve permanent results in as few as six (6) treatments. Packages are sold with eight (8) treatments to allow for some variability.

Are there any possible side effects to my treatment?

Laser hair removal is a safe and quick procedure with minimal to no downtime. The most common side effect of the treatment is mild redness of the area following your treatment that gradually improves over several hours. A small percentage of people may experience the following side effects:

Is there anything I should not do after my treatment?

We recommend the following precautions after your treatment in order to optimize your results:

No makeup, lotion, moisturizer, or deodorant to the treated area for the first 24 hours.
Avoid sunscreen to the treated area for 24 hours, if possible. After that, apply sunscreen any time you are going outdoors. No sun exposure for two weeks before and after your treatment is ideal.
Avoid swimming or any submersion in water for 24 hours after the procedure.
Avoid applying skin care products to the treated area not discussed and approved by your injector.
Do not use your regular skincare products such as Vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid serums, retinoids, glycolic or salicylic-based cleansers on the treated area for 7 days after your treatment.
Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications, like ibuprofen, Naprosyn, etc. for 7 days following your treatment.
Do not use ice, arnica gel, or bromelain on your skin for 7 days after your treatment.
Do not pick, scratch, wax, thread, or tweeze the area during your treatments.

Are there any contraindications to receiving treatment?

Yes, there are a few contraindications to laser hair removal:

A tan
Photosensitizing treatments (Accutane, antibiotics, etc.)
Skin infections or diseases
Skin lesions
Tattoos
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Pacemakers
Active herpes outbreak in the area of treatment
